Hail and well met! I am AO3 user Phlyarologist and I am requesting an assortment of dirtbags, villains, preternaturally hot women, and guys with boats*! I hope something in the prompts that follow will appeal to you, but if not, feel free to ignore them and do your own thing. If you also like any of my niche favorites, I trust your judgment already.

My prompts tend to skew gen, but shipping-wise m/f, m/m, and f/f are all welcome. Although I do not want explicit sex scenes, offscreen/implied/fade-to-black sex is fine!

General likes: Humor, friendship, adventure, worldbuilding, missing scenes, character study, interactions between characters who don't normally share a lot of page- or screentime, bittersweetness, hope in the face of adversity. Dirtbags, scoundrels, weasely little bastards, etc. Angst, complicated family dynamics, body horror, deathfic.

DNWs: Explicit sexual content (implied or fade-to-black is fine), non-con, unrequested incest, unrequested adult/underage ships; mundane AUs for canons with supernatural elements; modern AUs for non-modern canons; pregnancy; non-canonical child characters; gender or sexual orientation as sources of angst/conflict; non-canonical death by suicide (canonical suicides or suicides-by-proxy are fine; ideation or attempts not resulting in death are fine); vomit, feces

Phlyarologist here - thanks for taking the time! I'm requesting some real long-time fandoms here and I'm super stoked to get anything about any of them. Especially since this seems to have turned into a slate of mostly secondary and tertiary characters, you are already a champ for writing or drawing them, so if you have a better idea than any of my prompts, please go right on ahead!

Dear Trick or Treat creator,

Hello, and happy [fall or spring]! I'm requesting what is for me a fairly eclectic mix of stuff, and generally speaking I'm down for either fic or art, falling along a pretty broad spectrum tone-wise; I hope something in this letter speaks to you, but if not, please go right ahead and ignore my prompts and make something you'll have fun with.

Whatever we matched on, if you want to check out any of the other canons, these are pretty low-investment:

• "Broken Bride" (Youtube link to full album) is a ~30-minute sci-fi concept album from the guys behind "Love Me Dead," "Lake Pontchartrain," "Whipped Cream," and similar
  
• A Monster in Paris is a 90-minute animated movie with a really cute bug monster; it was available on US Netflix last I checked
  
• Lake of Voices is a free atmospheric-horror visual novel with gen and m/f endings plus one f/f route; it took me maybe 3-4 hours to get all endings, but it may go faster for you if you're a more experienced VN player.

Ghost Trick, Hollow Knight, and Fire Emblem 8 are bigger time sinks, but recommended if you like, respectively, twisty supernatural mysteries, Metroidvanias (with cute bugs!), or just a very solid tactical RPG. There are also LPs for each of them in the places where you would expect to find LPs. My requests are going to spoil the hell out of Ghost Trick in particular, and the mystery is much more fun to solve unspoiled, so if you'd like to try it someday, you might wanna skip that section of my letter.
